PLEASE JOIN US FOR A FIRST-EVER REVIEW AND DISCUSSION  OF THE GEN Z AND BEYOND SURVEY RESULTS!

You are invited to participate in this informative, insightful, and thought-provoking pilot session that will be key in outlining a suggested roadmap to help Zoroastrian communities in North America flourish while maintaining their identity.

Gen Z and Beyond: A Survey For Every Generation, was a Shapoorji Pallonji Institute of Zoroastrian Studies, SOAS, University of London research project. SOAS, with its long history of engagement with the subject of Zoroastrianism and links to the global Zoroastrian community, offered a neutral platform to undertake this study.

The ~200-page Report by Principal Investigator Dr. Sarah Stewart, Project Manager Dr. Nazneen Engineer, and Analyst Joe Turtle, provides tremendous information and insight to help us understand the current Zoroastrian populations world-wide with reference to –

  • how people in different regions think of themselves as Zoroastrians,
  • how they disseminate knowledge and information through familial and communal channels,
  • their sources of belief and how they practice the religion in terms of devotional life, social habits and how they engage with each other in community spaces,
  • their views on entrepreneurship and philanthropy,
  • their attitudes towards inter-marriage and children of intermarried Zoroastrians,
  • as well as their ideas on how to strengthen the religion and community for future generations.

Hear Report findings, discuss takeaways, and share your aspirations for the community to help answer the question, “Where to, from here?”

Z I G Meetup

The Zoroastrian Intermarried Group here in the tri-state area is having an event to welcome all the intermarried spouses with an introduction and explanation of the prayer room and its meaning.
