ZAGNY participation at the India Day Parade yesterday was fantastic. There was a great turnout with about 20 of us. The youngest participant was 14 month old Nivaan Mantri walking in the parade with his mom Anahita….to several 70+ year olds.
Some of our group were interviewed on Star PLUS and ITV individually. And the Parade was shown live in the US and in India….on Times NOW.
We also had three boys and one girl all under 10, and all in dagli/navjote dress walking up front….and the camera crews a ball taking these photo ops….with the kids waving the Indian flag etc.
Besides the 20 of us who walked, there was a big ZAGNY spectator audience of about a dozen people following us and cheering for us.
