Title: Legal Ethics in Contemporary Times.

Ethics was a topic very dear to Professor Irani. Cyrus is an expert in the field of Legal Ethics,  and will talk about its importance in the modern world and why lawyers and other professionals must abide by an ethical code. He will relate it to the basic tenets of Zoroastrianism and how he has used them in not only his personal life, but also in his legal practice.

Speaker: Cyrus Mehta

Cyrus D. Mehta is a graduate of Cambridge University and Columbia Law School, is the Founder and Managing Partner of Cyrus D. Mehta & Partners PLLC, which represents corporations and individuals from around the world in immigration matters and also provides advice to lawyers on ethical issues. Cyrus  received the American Immigration Lawyer’s prestigious 2018 Edith Lowenstein Memorial Award for advancing the practice of immigration law and the AILA 2011 Michael Maggio Memorial Award for his outstanding efforts in providing pro bono representation in the immigration field, among other awards and distinctions. He is an Adjunct Professor of Law at Brooklyn Law School, and is also a prolific writer on contemporary immigration topics, including ethics.
