Shehriyar Antia is the Founder and Chief Market Strategist of MIG, The Macro Insight Group

Shehriyar launched Macro Insight Group in 2013 to provide independent and accessible macro-themed investment strategy to investment professionals around the world.

Prior to founding MIG, Shehriyar was a Senior Analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York where he advised policymakers, including Janet Yellen, Ben Bernanke, Timothy Geithner and William Dudley.

While at the New York Fed, Shehriyar gained unique insight and expertise in monetary policy tools, QE programs and their implications for financial markets.

He was the recipient of several awards – including the prestigious New York Fed President’s Award – for thought leadership and analytical contributions during the financial crisis.

Shehriyar’s commentary on monetary policy and central bank issues has been featured in international financial media including: Institutional Investor, Barron’s, ETF.com, Bloomberg, Alpha Think Tank, and The Asahi Shimbun.

In June 2015, Shehriyar was featured as a “Big Thinker” by ETF Report Magazine.

Shehriyar is a life-long member of ZAGNY having grown up in the Tri-state and has been a part of ZAGNY since childhood, and continues to be active in ZAGNY activities.
