The Cyrus Cylinder: A Brief Overview

ZAGNY kicked off the first of a series of events leading up to the exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum. This first event was a fantastic overview of what is the Cyrus Cylinder, its historic importance and current stature.

“The Cyrus Cylinder: A Brief Overview” was presented by Xerxes Kotval and Daulat Kotval, ZAGNY Religion Class teachers and long-standing members of ZAGNY and the community.

Yes folks, we are coming up to last prayer class in June very fast and that means the fun filled Youth camp. The camp will start at 10.00am on Saturday, June 1st and end at 1.00pm on Sunday, June 2nd.

  • Starts on Sat @10am
  • Lunch will be provided followed by games outside at the Darbe Meher.
  • Dinner and baseball at Rockland County stadium in Pomona.
  • Bonfire with marshmallows and smores at night.
  • Sleepover at the Darbe Meher, tent pitching welcome but not necessary.
  • Breakfast and games in the morning on Sunday before classes start.

This is a wonderful opportunity for getting the younger youth together, to have a great time, bonding together and forge friendships. We look forward to having all the youth participate.
