ZAGNY Picnic

This year ZAGNY will be hosting the annual picnic at Crestwood Park, Allendale NJ.  Crestwood Park is a 71 acre municipal facility located on West Crescent Avenue in Allendale.

The park includes a lake, 3 beaches, multiple sports fields, and a barn pavilion (The Red Barn).

ZAGNY have reserved the barn pavilion (Red Barn), a sports field and we will have access to one of the beach areas for swimming.

Activities:

Games (tug of war, cricket, etc.) grilling, potluck lunch, swimming and singing.

Bring your favorite potluck picnic dish (enough to share with 10 – 15 people), lawn games, swimsuits and come prepared to have a great time!

Grills are available for cookout. ZAGNY will provide watermelon, iced tea, hot tea and charcoal for the cookout.

Directions:

Road

From I-287: Take the exit to I-17 Mahwah (Exit 66); Take the Lake St exit toward Ramsey; Follow E Crescent Ave., which turns into W Crescent Ave. after the light; Crestwood Lake Park will be to the right.

From GSP:   Going North take the I-17 exit to I-17 N (Mahwah); Follow I-17 and take exit to Allendale; Take E Crescent Ave. till the might signal, keep going straight through Allendale Main Street and turn slightly right into Myrtle Ave.; Follow it to the next light and take a left on W Crescent Ave.  Crestwood Lake Park will be to the right.

Once in Crestwood Lake Park keep going straight until you come to Red Bard.  Parking near the Red Barn is limited, so you might have to park at the parking lot near the Crestwood Lake.

Rail

Allendale is a train station on the Main Bergen line.
